Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between niceday Inc. (the "Company") and users in relation to the use of the kkeung service (the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service" means the kkeung application, a pet photo and video sharing SNS provided by the Company.
  • "User" means any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • "Content" means all information such as photos, videos, and text that a user posts to the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

These Terms take effect by being posted on the Service screen or otherwise notified to users. The Company may amend these Terms when necessary, and amended Terms take effect 7 days after notice. However, for changes unfavorable to users, notice will be given at least 30 days in advance. A user who does not agree to the changes may stop using the Service and withdraw their membership.

Matters regarding the collection, use, and storage of personal information are governed by the Company's Privacy Policy, separately from these Terms.

Article 4 (Use of the Service)

  • The Service is available to users aged 14 or older.
  • Users may sign up via a Google, Apple, or Kakao (Korean users only) account.
  • One kkeung account is created per social login (Google, Apple, Kakao) account.
  • The Service is operated mainly around pet-related content.

Article 4-1 (Restriction on Children Under 14)

The Service is intended for users aged 14 or older, and children under 14 may not register or use the Service. The Company does not collect personal information of children under 14, and if such collection is found, the Company will destroy the information without delay.

Article 5 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following:

  • Misappropriating others' personal information or registering false information
  • Posting illegal content such as obscene, violent, or hateful material
  • Infringing others' intellectual property rights
  • Posting spam or advertising content without authorization
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
  • Posting content that abuses animals or encourages such abuse

Article 5-1 (Reporting and Blocking)

If a user finds inappropriate or offensive content or users within the Service, they have the following rights:

  • They may report the content or user.
  • They may block a specific user so that the user's content is not shown to them.

When a report is received, the Company will review it promptly, and for content that clearly violates the law or Article 5, the Company will endeavor to take necessary measures such as deletion or blocking within 24 hours of receipt.

Article 6 (Rights to Content)

Copyright in content posted by a user belongs to the user. However, the user grants the Company a non-exclusive license to use such content free of charge for the purpose of operating the Service and promoting the Service itself (app store listings, official SNS, etc.). This license ends when the user deletes the content or withdraws membership.

Article 6-1 (Photo and Video Content)

Users must observe the following regarding photos and videos uploaded to the Service:

  • Copyright in uploaded photos/videos belongs to the user, and content infringing others' copyright may not be posted.
  • When posting photos/videos containing others' faces, the user is responsible for not infringing those individuals' portrait rights.
  • Uploaded photos/videos are stored in Supabase Storage (Seoul region).
  • Upon withdrawal or a content deletion request, the relevant photos/videos are deleted immediately.
  • The Company may delete content that violates the law or Article 5 (User Obligations) without prior notice.

Article 6-2 (Usage Restrictions)

If a user violates Article 5 (User Obligations), the Company may take the following measures:

  • Deletion or unpublishing of content
  • Temporary suspension of Service use
  • Permanent revocation of membership

If you object to a usage restriction, you may file an objection to the Company's email (always@niceday.io).

Article 7 (Service Interruption)

The Service may be temporarily interrupted due to system maintenance, server failures, force majeure, and similar causes. The Company is not liable for resulting damages unless caused by its intent or gross negligence.

Article 8 (Provision of the Service)

The Service is provided free of charge. The Company may change the Service's content to operate and improve it.

Article 9 (Account Termination)

Users may apply to withdraw membership at any time via the settings menu in the Service. Upon withdrawal, all of the user's personal information and content is deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not liable for the content posted by users or for disputes between users, unless caused by its intent or gross negligence. The Company is not liable for Service disruptions caused by natural disasters, force majeure, or reasons attributable to the user.

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to the Service shall be subject to the Seoul Central District Court as the court of first instance.
